About me

My name is Alan Jantz. I am a software developer focused on backend development, but sometimes I like to explore and challenge myself with frontend adventures.

I have always liked to discover new things and trying to understand how they work is one of my oldest hobbies. When I was younger, I started a HTML & CSS blog and played with my imagination to create a lot of designs.

In 2017, I started a C# Programming Course and in that same year I started to study Computer Science on college. Thanks to it, I was able to start my professional life as a software developer. Nowadays, I'm a fullstack developer work with .NET Core and React.

    I've been studying English since I was 12 years old. My current English level is B2 going to C1. In April/23 I have been to Kaplan Toronto and spent a month having classes with people from all around the globe.

    Responsible for task refinement, code review and training new team members. My duties consisted of maintaining and improving a web application, a critical management system for promotions and agreements between Ambev and big supermarket chains. Our team uses Kanban as our agile methodology. I worked on the creation of a new system to replace a monolith, using technologies as C# (.NET and .NET Core), Azure Service Bus, PostgresSQL, React JS and many more.
